This informational forum will feature a panel who will explore the controversial aspects of Casino Gambling and slot machines in Massachusetts. Speakers will include Tom Larkin, Licensed Psychologist; Louise Haldeman, Casino Gambling Specialist for LWV Massachusetts; Jeanne McKnight, Attorney, and State Senator Scott Brown. Newman School Auditorium Fall Forum - Global Warming: How You Can Make a Difference. In addition to a keynote speech by Larry Chretien, Executive Director of Mass Energy Consumers Alliance (http://www.massenergy.com), audience members will be able to choose from four break-out sessions:

  • saving energy in the home (Paul Eldrenkamp http://www.byggmeister.com)
  • residential solar energy
  • fuel efficient cars
  • climate change legislation

Later, at the informational fair, there will be an opportunity to learn about the New England Wind Fund, meet the new manager of Dover's Powisset Farm, talk to the break-out session presenters, find out about the "Low Carbon Diet Team" program, buy some earth-friendly products, and more.
