2025 Annual Meeting: Elections and Awards

The 85th Annual Meeting of the League of Women Voters of Needham opened with the Year in Review Video and our guest speaker, the recently retired State Representative for the 13th Norfolk District, Denise Garlick.

Lifetime membership awards were presented to two members, Susan Glazer, shown with presenter Maureen McCaffrey, and Susan McCalley (not present). Denise Garlick received the Greta Schirmer Award for her many contributions to the League of Women Voters of Needham. Our annual business included amending the League of Women Voters of Needham bylaws, approving the FY26 budget, and electing officers and the board of directors. The gavel was passed from outgoing League President Carol Patey to incoming President Elin Soderholm.
