Candidates Night for Needham Election 2023

The League of Women Voters of Needham welcomed 157 people to the hybrid Candidates Night 2023–returning to Broadmeadow for the first time in several years. It was also our first hybrid Candidates Night, with 67 people joining on Zoom to watch and ask questions. Also a first, it was streamed live on the Needham Channel and Roku App.

The candidates for Planning Board and Select Board answered questions from a variety of sources: LWVN, email, at the forum and on Zoom. Our Needham High School Club members were kept busy collecting questions on index cards.

Special thanks to League Voter Service Chair Jen Geraci for coordinating Candidates Night, and Debbie Winnick for moderating. Thanks as always to the Needham Channel.

We appreciate the cooperation of the candidates and wish them good luck on April 11.
