Fourth Congressional District Primary Candidate Forum

Viewing Options: The forum will be held on August 5, 2020, at 3:00 pm using Zoom through the Brookline Interactive Group (BIG). It can be viewed live, and it will be available for later viewing up until the September 1 primary election.

The forum will be shown live on Brookline Comcast 23 / RCN 15/613 HD and possibly other cable access stations in the district—check local listings.

Forum Format: The forum will be conducted according to League of Women Voters guidelines. After a brief opening statement from the candidates, a League Moderator will ask questions submitted from League members and the public, followed by closing statements from the candidates.

Submit Questions: Email CD4questions@gmail.com. Questions should be relevant to all candidates and current issues. Due to limited time, questions will be screened to ensure a wide range of topics are covered. Questions must be received by noon on August 3.

Voting in the Primary: The Primary is September 1, 2020. Members of political parties (Republican, Democratic, Green-Rainbow, Libertarian) may vote only in their own party’s primary. Unenrolled voters (often referred to as “Independents”) and members of political designations or minor parties may vote in the party primary of their choice. You may change your party enrollment prior to the voter registration deadline (August 22).
