Meet the Norfolk County Commisioner Candidates

League of Women Voters Norfolk County Commissioner Candidate Forum

Meet the candidates for Norfolk County Commissioner on Wednesday, October 14, at 4:00 PM at an online candidate forum. The three candidates running for the two seats on the Commission have accepted the invitation to participate. The forum is co-hosted by the following Norfolk County Leagues of Women Voters: Needham, Brookline, Norwood, Sharon-Stoughton, Wellesley, and Westwood-Walpole-Dedham; in collaboration with the LWV Needham at Needham High School.

Candidates: Vote for two to join the board of the Norfolk County Commissioners. The three Norfolk County Commissioners serve as the executive authority of the county government.

Forum Format: After opening statements from the candidates, a League Moderator will ask questions submitted from League members, general public and the Zoom attendees, followed by closing statements from the candidates. Zoom attendees may type in questions during the live event.

Submit Questions in Advance: Questions may be emailed in advance to NorfolkQuestions@gmail.com. Questions should be relevant to all candidates for the office and current issues. Submit questions by October 12.

Register for Zoom Live Event: Members of the public are welcome to join the Zoom event as attendees and must register at https://bit.ly/norfolkcc. Registered attendees can watch the forum live and can submit written questions during the forum. All registered attendees will receive initial and reminder emails with instructions on joining the Zoom event.

The forum will also be live streamed at The Needham Channel https://www.needhamchannel.org/watch-programs-on-needhamchannel-org/.

The forum will be recorded and will be available at the Needham Channel and LWV websites.
