At 8:30 PM on Tuesday, March 4, during the first presidential address of the new administration, LWV will host a nationwide in-person action for democracy: Light for Our Democracy.  This is an opportunity to stand together in opposition to our developing constitutional crisis.

History has shown us that change happens when people come together. From the abolition of slavery to the expansion of voting rights, collective action has always been the driving force of progress. Please consider joining us to come together for the health of our democracy, the future of our nation, and the well-being of all its people.

LWVMA has answered the call to action and will host an event at the Boston Common. Details are being worked out; look for an email update from LWVMA. We will be joined by statewide organizations that are nonpartisan. Amplify the event to your personal and professional networks.
