Our all-member Opening Meeting will be held at the Center at the Heights on Thursday, October 6 at 7pm. LWV-Needham member Debbie Schmill will speak about the work of the Becca Schmill Foundation, focusing on ways to promote and safeguard the emotional well-being of adolescents and young adults. She will address issues affecting adolescents including sexual assault, harmful social media, and substance abuse. She will also detail the process that led to the creation of the foundation. The evening will provide an opportunity to gather together as we learn about these issues.
