Our League will be joining with folks from First Parish Church to host a VOTE sign-making event on Sunday, September 22, about 11:45 (following their service). As you may recall, for last April’s local election several people created home-made signs using recycled materials. This will be an opportunity to create more such signs for the November general election.

If you’d like to help that day, please contact Carol Patey so we have an idea of how many will be participating. Materials will be provided, although feel free to bring additional materials to make you’re a particularly creative sign! Examples of signs created in the past can be found on the LWV website. This will be a good event to involve the whole family, including children and grandchildren.
