LWVN Opening Forum: The Women’s Suffrage Movement in Needham

Our first forum of the fall will feature Gloria Polizzotti Greis, PhD, Executive Director of the Needham History Center and Museum. Gloria will discuss the women's suffrage movement in Needham. We will also continue our celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the League of Women Voters with a look at the League's work in Needham through a 10-minute video presentation.

This LWVMA lobby day begins with presentations by keynote speaker State Senate President Karen Spilka and LWVMA legislative specialists on League-supported bills. Afterward, League members are encouraged to visit their legislators to advocate for the bills.
