League of Women Voters Norfolk County Commissioner Primary Candidate Forum

Meet the candidates running in the Democratic Primary for Norfolk County Commissioner on Wednesday, August 24, at 4:00 PM. Incumbent Peter Collins and challenger Paul Yorkis have accepted our invitation to participate. The forum is co-hosted by the following Norfolk County Leagues of Women Voters: Brookline, Needham, Norwood, Sharon-Stoughton, Wellesley, and Westwood-Walpole-Dedham, and Cohasset (Hingham League).

The forum has two goals: 1) to describe the office of County Commissioner and its functions, and 2) to give the candidates an opportunity to present themselves to the voters and answer questions from LWV and the voters.

Questions for the candidates may be emailed in advance and during the forum to Questions should be relevant to all candidates for the office and current issues. Questions submitted in advance have the best chance of being asked.

The forum will be conducted on Zoom and can be viewed live on The Needham Channel website at

The recorded forum will be will be available at the Needham Channel and LWV websites.
