The League of Women Voters of Needham kicked off participation in the Voter Girl Project with two activities with a Needham Daisy Girl Scout troop.

The first meeting, on March 23, 2026, the girls learned about being part of a larger community as part of the Good Neighbor Badge.

The second event, on June 3, focused on expanding into understanding our town, state, and country, followed by a Scavenger Hunt in Needham Town Hall. In small groups, the girls explored the inside and outside of Town Hall, discovered some offices and artifacts, and met with Town Manager Katie King.

For their participation the girls received the Voter Girl Patch for their patch collections.
