On Tuesday, September 1, Massachusetts voters will choose nominees for all levels of elected state executive and legislative offices, regional and county offices, as well as the federal offices of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. For a complete list, visit the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s website. In anticipation of the State Primary, here’s important information from the Town Clerk: Voter Registration Deadline To vote in the September 1 Primary, you must be registered to vote by 5 pm on Saturday, August 22. Visit the Voter Registration page on the Town’s website for more details. Track Your Vote-By-Mail Ballot The Town Clerk’s office is sending out early vote-by-mail ballots and absentee ballots to voters who requested them. The requests are being processed in the order in which they were received. To track your ballot, click the button below. Attention College Students! College students who requested an absentee or vote-by-mail ballot should make sure they will be at their college address when it is delivered. Otherwise, the Post Office may not deliver it. If you’re unsure you’ll be there, you can request that your ballot be sent to your Needham home address instead, or vote absentee in-person at the Town Clerk’s office. |
In-Person Absentee Voting Available Now All voters who will not be able to vote in person on election day on September 1 may now vote in person absentee at the Town Clerk’s Office during business hours. The last date to do so is 12 pm on August 31. Early In-Person Voting The Town Clerk’s office will have Early In-Person Voting at Town Hall before the September 1 Primary on the following days:
